History of Silo J.M. Lambert
It all began in 1967 when Mr. Jean-Marc Lambert was working in collaboration with La Coop Fédérée.
For nearly five years, he gained enough experience to start his own business. Thus, in 1972, Silo J.M. Lambert was born.
At its inception, Silo J.M. Lambert Inc. started by constructing silos on a contract basis. The company quickly set itself apart by marketing its own brand of pressed concrete stave silos.
In 1983, it expanded its range of services by distributing most of the major silo unloader brands. At the time, it offered well-known brands such as Harvestore (better known as Goliath), Valmétal, Jamesway, Patz, Supreme, and many more. A complete range of TMR mixers and vitrified steel silos, which later became its trademark, were also added.
Committed to always serving its customers better, Silo J.M. Lambert maintains a large stock of parts to meet immediate needs, whether for maintenance or repairs of silos, unloaders, mixers, and other feeding and storage equipment.
In 2012, due to the growing demand for farm equipment, a new division was created to better meet customer needs: Équipements Lambert.
In 2022, the company decided to phase out concrete stave silos and focus more on conventional blue silos, sprayed concrete, and bunker silos.
At the same time, it continued manufacturing doors for various silo models.
In December 2023, the company was sold to a group of investors who share the same vision as Jean-Marc Lambert:
To preserve the company’s heritage—its values, reputation, expertise, and visibility.
In 2024, faced with constant supply challenges and following discussions with certain suppliers, the company sought to become more self-sufficient by adapting and making strategic decisions.
Silo J.M. Lambert Inc., drawing on its expertise and guided by customer feedback, chose to develop its own silo unloader while maintaining its parts service for other brands owned by its customers.
From 2023 to today, the company has been continuously evolving to better meet the diverse and specific needs of its clientele.
While the new owners already have excellent knowledge of the agricultural sector, they are grateful to Mr. Lambert for sharing his extensive expertise and generously passing on his industry know-how.
Recently, Silo J.M. Lambert has partnered with new collaborators to expand its scope and diversify its range of products and services. In addition to its current activities, the company is now working on entering the potable water tank (commercial and industrial) and biomethanation tank sectors.
